"Guilds of One" is an exciting and well structured guild that was formed for World of Warcraft just in time for the launch of Cataclysm. With the launch of patch 4.0.3a “The Shattering” and the subsequent release of the expansion “Cataclysm” WoW players were all provided with a unique opportunity to start it all over for the first time (again). Our concept when we formed was simple, only level one characters may be invited into the guild. Once in the guild, members were free to level as fast as they like, but all of us vowed to start at level one some time after the release of patch 4.0.3a and/or on December 7, 2010 at the launch of Cataclysm. From there we vowed to level together as a leveling guild, experiencing the world of Azeroth again for the first time. In the months that followed the release of cataclsim, the guild has grown into a full fledged guild including multiple raiding teams.
The "Guilds of One" name derives from the formation of two separate guilds with this common purpose. For the Alliance side, we formed a guild called "Alliance of One" and for the Horde side we have formed a guild called "Horde of One." Both guilds are managed by one guild master and a core group of guild officers devoted to the purpose of maintaining the two sister guilds as a single guild with two factions. This website "Guilds of One" is a central place for both factions to keep up to date on the latest news and information pertaining to both guilds.
The Guilds of One are hosted on the Baelgun server, a low to medium population server with a fairly even ratio of Alliance to Horde. Members are welcome to start characters in both factions ("Alliance of One" and "Horde of One") or chose the one that interests them the most.
If you are interested in joining the "Guild of One", please submit an application to this website and then seek out an officer or member n game to get an invite. To find out more about how our guild is structured, see the guild forums section titled "Getting Started".
